Samuel Hutchinson
Sam's feature film screenplay Prettywood a British horror, is currently under Option with International Emmy Award-winning director and producer, David Barnes.
He also has several writing projects in development with both Libra Television in Media City and independent production company Smogtown Productions.
From a young age, Sam has always loved writing and film, particularly genre work. In order to pursue this passion, he elected to take a degree in Scriptwriting for Film & Television at Bournemouth University's Media School.
After graduating, he worked as a Script Reader for numerous companies, including the BBC and Carnival Films, before gaining his first credit as Script Consultant on BBC2 short drama Sleeping Lions which was nominated for a Children's BAFTA.
Following a successful trial in their story department, he spent a year at Lime Pictures storylining for Hollyoaks.
